Ruth Anderson Volunteer Administration Award of Excellence
The Kentucky Derby Museum’s Volunteer Coordinator Julie Henry was recently honored by the Kentuckiana Association of Volunteer Administrators (KAVA) for her outstanding efforts in running the Museum’s volunteer program, known as The Outriders Society. Henry was presented with the Ruth Anderson Volunteer Administration Award of Excellence, an honor handed out annually by KAVA. The organization seeks to publicly recognize a member that “distinguishes themselves in the long-term performance excellence of volunteer leadership” with this award.
Julie and her family joined Museum President Patrick Armstrong and Vice President Sherry Crose at a special awards ceremony held at Gilda’s Club in Louisville June 9th. Thanks again to Julie for all of her hard work and dedication. Congratulations on this well-deserved honor!
