November 1 will be the last day to catch the current version of the Museum's 360-degree show "The Greatest Race." During the month of November, the Great Hall will shut down for installation of the updated show. Opening December 6, “The Greatest Race” will be re-released, featuring new footage and a new experience for guests. Shot during Kentucky Derby 141 using the latest “Ultra HD” technology, “The Greatest Race” will be the first 360-degree, seamless 4k story-based immersive media experience in the world, with a presentation incorporating 30 million pixels, making it one of the largest digital displays permanently installed in a public attraction. Donna Lawrence and Donna Lawrence Productions is the producer of the new show, as she was for the current version.
