Kentucky Derby Museum announces new staff appointments
Including two new Vice Presidents and Director of Visitor Services
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (July 28, 2016) – The Kentucky Derby Museum announces three new staff appointments to the Museum leadership team.
Erik Brown has been named Vice President and Chief Development Officer. Brown has been with the Museum for seven years and most recently served as Director of Sales and Events. He will be responsible for overseeing the Curatorial, Events/Sales, Visitor Services and Membership Development functions of the Museum.
Te’Airra McQuarter was named Director of Visitor Services. McQuarter has been with the Museum since 2006 and most recently served as Visitor Services Manager. She will oversee the Visitor Services’ management team at the front desk of the Museum and staff conducting daily tours of the Museum and Churchill Downs Racetrack.
Chief Financial Officer Jane Driskell was also named Vice President. She joined the Museum as CFO in April and will continue to retain that title. She oversees the Museum’s Finance and Human Resources team.
