LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Nov.7, 2016) –The Kentucky Derby Museum is proud to announce the lineup for the 2017 Legend Series: Bourbon Masters. For the fourth year, the Museum has sought out the who’s who in the bourbon industry to share a unique evening celebrating the culture, people and history of bourbon.
The 2017 three-event series will kick-off with Fred Booker Noe III, the Master Distiller of Jim Beam, on Friday, January 27. Noe promises an “uncut and unfiltered” evening with him, just like his father’s namesake bourbon. He says people frequently ask him how to drink their bourbon. His answer is “any damn way you like!”. Don’t miss this candid evening with Fred Booker Noe III.
The second event will feature Tom Bulleit, founder of Bulleit Distilling Co., on Thursday, March 23. "I am honored to be able to participate in this special event, featuring Kentucky's two defining industries, and supporting such a worthy cause," Bulleit said.
Finally, the series concludes with Campbell Brown, President of Old Forester, on Thursday, April 20. "I'm excited to represent Old Forester in the Legends Series. We look forward to sharing the history behind our Whiskey Row Series, a peek at our new distillery on Main Street and great conversation about the First Bottled Bourbon," Brown said.
Hosted by the Museum’s own Bourbon Authority Fred Minnick in The Great Hall of the Kentucky Derby Museum, the Legends Series provides the perfect environment for a casual, but in-depth conversation with pioneers and titans of the industry, accompanied by a selection of bourbon tastings selected by each Bourbon Master, as well as appetizers.
A special package deal to attend all three events is available now for purchase for $150 per person until December 31st. The price will increase to $175 on January 1st.
