Kentucky Derby Museum and Four Roses Bourbon invite you to a 50th anniversary dinner honoring bourbon legend Al Young
Enjoy an intimate, progressive dinner featuring a five course menu with bourbon pairings

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Aug.1, 2017) - Celebrate National Bourbon Heritage Month with the Kentucky Derby Museum and Four Roses Bourbon as we host a special 50th anniversary dinner in honor of Senior Brand Ambassador and bourbon legend Al Young.

Join us Thursday, September 7th at 6pm for a delicious, five-course bourbon-centric, progressive style dinner served throughout the Museum. Each course will pair perfectly with a different Four Roses Bourbon.

As guests make their way to different areas of the Museum for the next course, Young will join Four Roses Master Distiller Brent Elliott and the Museum's Bourbon Authority Fred Minnick to introduce and discuss each bourbon pairing. The evening will end with a toast to Young with a pour of his hand-selected 2017 Limited Edition 50th Anniversary Small Batch Bourbon, just released this June.

Al Young has served in a variety of roles at Four Roses for the past 50 years. In 1990, he became Distillery Manager and in 2007 was named Four Roses Brand Ambassador, a role that has him crossing the country sharing the story of Four Roses and its Bourbon. He is also historian for the storied 129-year-old Kentucky Bourbon brand, having researched archives, distillery records, news accounts, photos and artifacts in order to write the coffee-table book Four Roses: The Return of a Whiskey Legend, published in 2010. Al Young was inducted into the Whisky Magazine Hall of Fame in 2015 and is also a member of the Kentucky Distillers' Association Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame.

A limited number of Young's hand selected 2017 Limited Edition 50th Anniversary Small Batch Bourbon will be available for purchase. A number of limited edition 40th anniversary Secretariat Bottles will also be up for raffle.

Tickets are $100 per person and are expected to go quickly! To secure your spot and view the menu for the evening, please click here
