Angel Cordero Jr Stops by the Museum & Signs the Starting Gate

Since 1984 the Breeders' Cup has drawn the top equine competitors from around the world. Thousands of fans turnout to watch this historic event and this year we were honored to have Angel Cordero Jr. join us in the Museum as he and his family took a break from watching the races. What a wonderful treat for our visitors to have the three-time Derby winner add his signature to the Starting Gate in the Museum lobby. Among his many achievements in racing, he won the Kentucky Derby aboard Cannonade (1974), Bold Forbes (1976) & Spend a Buck (1985).
