In less than a month, the Kentucky Derby Museum Outreach program will be back on the road and visiting schools throughout the Commonwealth.
What’s derby week like in the education department? A lot of miles.
Congrats Zander Massey, 3rd grader at Breckinridge Franklin Elementary in Louisville for winning the Art in the Winner’s Circle XI exhibit at Kentucky Employees Credit Union in Frankfort!
Outreach is off to a pretty solid start for the 2015-16 school year. The first four visits were to target counties. We have 8 counties left until our program has visited all 120 in the state.
FEEL HIS WRATH! No, not the Norse God. I’m referring the most recent winter storm to pummel the area.
Well, I’ll be back in November. Check back to see which counties will welcome us this school year. Until then, Derby On!
It’s pretty much all that’s running through your mind in Louisville around this time, and I was able to start Derby Week off the right way by spending all morning on the Backside.
