October Outreach
What a great month. I had a string of amazing school visits complimented by almost perfect weather. Here are just a few highlights.

Towards the end of September, I had most of my dates booked for the school year and it was time to hit the road.
Okay, I’ll admit the title is a little cheesy, but I’m really excited. Summer is over and Outreach is back!
Outreach is over until the fall. This spring semester I traveled about 8,800 miles, visited 52 schools, and saw close to 18,000 students - and I remember ALL of their names.
I’ve watched it on TV several times, but this is my first, real-life, Kentucky Derby!! Big hats here I come!!
On April 17th I visited Taylor County Elementary School in Campbellsville. It’s the largest primary school in Kentucky with close to 1300 students.
I visited Kelly Elementary, perched right on the Ohio River, in Boone County on April 2nd.
I just finished another overnight week, but this time I went west- four different stops in four different counties.
