Kentucky Derby Museum is celebrating dads this Father’s Day with more than “just lunch.” Sunday, June 21, dads can enjoy an upscale lunch, learn how to place a bet like a pro, and taste a bourbon flight. Plus, dads get free admission into the Museum. The bugler from Churchill Downs will be on hand to kick off the celebration!

A senior at Mercy Academy was surprised in class Tuesday as the winner of this year’s Kentucky Derby Museum Horsing Around with Art Contest.
Anna Federico got quite a surprise when she went to school at Mercy Academy. The high school senior was told she won the 34th annual Horsing Around with Art competition sponsored by the Kentucky Derby Museum and WinStarFarm. For her submission, she collected a dozen roses and six box seats to the 146th Kentucky Derby. Also, Mercy will receive $500 for art supplies.
