A new display of hats and outfits are now available in the Kentucky Derby Museum’s “It’s my Derby” exhibit, showcasing the fashion from fans and celebrities that make the Kentucky Derby experience so memorable.

Updates recognizing Kentucky Derby 141 winner American Pharoah will be unveiled at the Kentucky Derby Museum Friday, June 5. Using images, video, text and sound, six exhibits will be revised to reflect American Pharoah’s accomplishments as he takes his place in the history books.
“The Prince of Jockeys: The Life of Isaac Burns Murphy,” a traveling exhibit dedicated to the career of three-time Kentucky Derby winning jockey Isaac Murphy, will end its residence at the Kentucky Derby Museum May 31.

On May 2, 2015, the first Saturday in May, the Kentucky Derby Museum will complete a 21-camera principal photography shoot – including a 360-degree camera rig towering over the infield – for a new production of “The Greatest Race.” This new production will transform the story into a new, state-of-the-art 360-degree media experience with technical and creative impact that will set a new industry benchmark for museum attractions well into the future.
